I want you to love everything from Maker Muse. As a solo creator, here’s my straightforward return process:
1. When You Can Return
You may request returns within 30 days of delivery if:
✅ Item is unused in original packaging with tags
✅ Defective, damaged, or incorrect item received
✅ Request submitted via email (include photos if damaged)
⚠️ Non-Returnable Items:
Digital downloads
Custom-made/personalized orders
Opened software/electronics
Consumables (filament, adhesives)
Final sale items (marked as such)
2. The Refund Process
1️⃣ Email me first at support@makermuse.onlinewith:
Order number
Reason + photos (for damaged items)
2️⃣ I’ll reply within 24 business hours with:
Return authorization
My Auburn, WA return address
3️⃣ Upon receiving your return:
Inspection within 2 business days
Refund issued to original payment method
Processing time: 3-10 business days (varies by bank)
3. When Refunds Aren’t Possible
I can’t accept returns for:
❌ Items damaged by misuse/accidents
❌ Requests after 30 days
❌ Shipping costs (unless I made an error)
❌ Personalized items or opened packages
4. Return Shipping
You cover return shipping unless:
I sent wrong item
Item arrived damaged
Always use tracked shipping – I’m not responsible for lost returns
Original shipping fees non-refundable
5. Damaged Items Protocol
Contact me within 48 hours of delivery with photos. I’ll either:
Send replacement immediately
Issue full refund including return costs
